Talk Therapy
Relational, parts-aware, somatically attuned. We get under the patterns you've already named — and find what's holding them in place. For anxiety, recurring relational dynamics, self-criticism, and a quiet kind of stuckness.
Learn moreTherapy in South Austin for thoughtful, high-functioning adults who've been holding it all together — and are quietly wondering what it would feel like to put some of it down.
On paper, my life looks great. Inside, I'm exhausted.
What clients often say
The people in my practice are capable, perceptive, and well-loved. They're also often holding something none of that fixes. We work together when one or more of these feels familiar:
Holding it all together at work, in friendships, at home — while privately running on fumes.
You keep ending up in the same kind of dynamic and can't quite see the thread — or you can, and it won't budge.
From your body, your feelings, the people you love. The volume just turned down somewhere along the way.
You understand your story — and you'd like something that actually moves what understanding hasn't.
Most clients begin with weekly talk therapy. Some add ketamine-assisted sessions when something deeper wants moving. Others come specifically for prep and integration around a medicine experience they're planning or making sense of. We choose together — and we can change direction as the work asks for it.

Learn moreA medical-and-therapy combined approach for clients who've done the cognitive work and want something that meets the body. Includes intake with a prescriber, careful prep, in-office dosing sessions, and integration.
Learn moreThoughtful preparation before a medicine experience or retreat, and grounded integration work after. We build a frame that holds what you encountered — so it lands in your life, not just in your journal.
Learn moreI draw from several lineages because no single framework fits a whole person. Relational psychotherapy is the room we work in. Parts work, somatic awareness, and experiential techniques are the tools I reach for — depending on what's actually moving in the session.
The relationship between us is the medicine. Honest, collaborative, willing to be wrong.
The protective patterns that shaped you aren't problems to fix. We listen to what they're guarding.
Insight without the body rarely sticks. We slow down enough to feel the shift, not just narrate it.
Pacing and consent at every step. The nervous system gets a vote in what we do next.
For most of my early adult life I held it all together on the outside while running on anxiety and self-erasure underneath. Therapy — with practitioners who really knew how to work relationally, somatically, and with the unconscious — is what changed it.
Not getting "fixed." Becoming someone who could actually feel her life, and choose it. That's the work I offer now: integrative, trauma-informed therapy for thoughtful people who are tired of holding it together on the outside while struggling on the inside.
"I work the way I wish someone had worked with me."

KAP is well-suited to clients who've done meaningful talk therapy and still feel stuck — particularly around trauma, depression, or recurring patterns the cognitive work hasn't moved. It's not a first-line treatment. We'll have a careful conversation about fit, history, and what you're hoping for during intake.
I'm not in-network with any insurance. I'm private pay ($175 / 50 min) and provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available — just ask in your inquiry.
We meet for a free 20-minute consult first so you can get a sense of me before deciding. If we move forward, the first few sessions are mostly about getting to know each other, your history, and what feels most pressing. There's no rush; we work at the pace your nervous system can metabolize.
Send a note and tell me what's actually going on. I read every inquiry. If we seem like a fit, we'll set up a free 20-minute consult so you can get a feel for me before deciding anything. Usually a 2–3 business day reply.
